Stephan Walter is an architect of images, a visual Artist and creative director based in Zurich, Switzerland
He creates projects for agencies, brands, and institutions – working at the intersection of graphic design, art direction, and illustration.
Known for his distinctive aesthetic and conceptual thinking, he moves effortlessly between disciplines – from the first sketch to the final detail, from self-initiated projects to full project management.

Rather than working with stock visuals, he developed his own visual style early on, shaped by his admiration for Swiss auteur graphics of the early 2000s. This helped him carve out his space in culture, communication, and advertising.

The rockstar career didn’t work out... but he designs album covers and posters that are louder than most tracks.

His love of typography runs through almost everything he creates. His independent approach has led to award-winning work and long-term collaborations, in Switzerland and beyond.
