Yun Yu is a Creative Director and Designer based in San Francisco Bay Area, California. Originally from China, she holds a BA from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and an MFA from Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts, and Design in Stockholm. Yun’s career spans a wide range of design fields, from branding and visual communication to conceptual and strategic design to product and experience design. She has worked with renowned clients across multiple sectors, including Minecraft, Nike, Bang & Olufsen, Mojang Studios, Ubisoft, Mentimeter, and H&M during her work at design consultancies.

Currently, Yun works at Apple Inc. as a Human Interface Designer in Apple’s prestigious Design Studio, directly envisioning, developing and crafting visual experiences for Apple’s products and services. Prior to Apple, she served as Creative Director at Bold Scandinavia, where she led a large team and contributed to numerous award-winning projects, including Gold at Cannes Lions, Grand Prix at Eurobest, and multiple D&AD accolades. Her work has been recognized with international awards and featured in notable exhibitions.
