Over the past decade, Ben has worked with Silicon Valley’s top CEOs, CMOs, and venture capitalists to build some of the most successful brands of the new economy. Ben started his career as a creative strategist and copywriter, which gives him a unique advantage when leading creative teams and client partners. His ability to be a storyteller has paved the way for thoughtful and impactful work. Under his leadership as CCO, Butchershop has doubled its creative department, added services and capabilities, moved into new B2C and B2B verticals, and gained a reputation for helping brands break into emerging sectors and social spaces or break out to lead them. His work has been recognized by numerous awards in advertising, communication design, and film, including The One Show, Communication Arts, TDC, Drum, Telly and others. Prior to Butchershop, Ben was Copy Director at Office where he prepped the Whole Foods brand for Amazon’s acquisition and overhauled Star Wars’ brand voice for the franchise’s reboot under Disney, and developed retail experiences with Google. Ben lives in Oakland, CA with his wife and young daughter.
