The Young Ones competition is one of the most acclaimed advertising, interactive and design student competitions. It has a tradition of excellence dating back to 1986.
In this project, I explored how visual typography, scale, color, texture and composition help to capture the essence of Tudi Temple, and how to translate the look into different formats. It starts from my personal experience of being at Tudi Temple when I was in Xiamen. I found the process of the ritual at Tudi Temple very interesting to me, and I developed it into a poster and a book.
