Description
The goal of the New Media Caucus rebranding project is to make NMC more inclusive than just a community that promotes communication among industry professionals; it encourages and helps everyone discover and understand new media art, in the hopes of bringing new media art into the public eye and sparking more discussion and advancement. It is dedicated to being the friendly, leading voice of new media art.
The voice of our brand is simple yet optimistic. This contrasts with the complexities associated with new media art. The brand texture, logo, and website layout all convey the idea. The simplified color palette is also ideal for ease of comprehension, as is the simplification of the brand voice. However, it does not advocate doing away with the advanced and abstract parts of new media art; rather, it promotes integrating educational materials to make it more approachable for those who are not professionals.
A series of graphic elements that are founded in the shape of a logo offer variety to the visual system and contribute to making the New Media Caucus better recognizable and visually cohesive. The visual system and brand language can be adapted to meet a variety of objectives, including impact, complicated design, as well as simple and straightforward needs. It can be employed in motion as well as on print-based media, adapting to the now predominant digital media.
