The Young Ones competition is one of the most acclaimed advertising, interactive and design student competitions. It has a tradition of excellence dating back to 1986.
Context: Diablo is a video game franchise from Blizzard, which was created in 1997. Is considered by many to be among the greatest games of all time and this year we will have the release of Diablo IV. Our mission was to position it as the hard-M (rated) entertainment event of the year.
Observation: There are many religions in the world and each of them has a sacred book. We find that all books have one thing in common: they have verses that teach you how to defeat the devil.
Idea: We collect and analyze the data from thousands of verses in centuries of religion, decoding them into 666 moves to defeat the devil in the game. Then we put them all together in a sacred book, sending it to religious leaders around the world to be the ones in charge of preaching his word to a new generation of believers.
Turning 20 million active gamers into faithful fighters against the devil and making more than 2 billion believers worldwide are praying for them.
