A long-time couple is in the process of separating, which could quickly turn into a divorce war. After a carousel of thoughts of possible repercussions, the two actively decide to handle the separation respectfully: For themselves and their common child.
Arms Wide Open wants to use this social spot to draw attention to the importance of the respectful interaction when separating with a common child.
A separation of parents can be very influential for a child. Whether this imprint has negative or positive effects is determined by the parents' behavior toward each other. A child carries the experience into a new generation. For this reason, the separation, above all for the future of the child, but also for themselves, should be carried out honorably and with respect.
Harassing someone after the relationship not only tugs at their nerves, but also their own. So the respectful and peaceful way is not only more pleasant for the child, but also for oneself.
Arms Wide Open was developed with great attention to detail by an all-female core team that aims to motivate and inspire young women in a male-dominated film industry to engage with and spread the word about important issues in our society.
