Reina Mun is a designer, maker, creative technologist, and interdisciplinary artist. She is currently a Master’s candidate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, exploring interactive experiences in the physical domain. Her works encompass microarchitectures, speculative devices, interactive objects, and functional art. By utilizing interactive technologies, and computational design methodologies, she seeks to imbue her works with empathetic and intimate qualities. Reina's works have been exhibited at venues including Dutch Design Week, Art Center Nabi, the Architectural Association, Korean Cultural Center UK, and ZER01NE Hyundai Kia's Art, and have been featured in magazines and media platforms including DesignBoom, WeVolver, Pink Essay, Yanko Design, SEISMA Magazine, CLOT, and SBS (Seoul Broadcasting Service), among others. Reina is currently a visiting critic at the Architectural Association in London. Before coming to MIT, she received RIBA Part 1 and a Bachelor of Architecture with Honors from the AA School of Architecture in London.
