background_
According to the Child Crime Prevention & Safety Center, every 40 seconds, a child disappears in the United States. Most disappearances of children occur when they are with their parents. While parents move around to look for their children, the children also move, making it difficult to find each other as they miss each other. The longer it takes to find a child, the lower the chances of finding the child, and parents may never be able to find their child.
insight_
Even children lacking judgment can easily recognize the red and green signals of traffic lights. Then, what if the colors of traffic lights, which are easily recognizable for children, are used to prevent their disappearance when they lose their parents?
idea_
We added 'traffic lights' to the 'Crocs that children often wear.
1. The color of the light changes depending on the distance between mother and child.
2. The child sees the light and is aware that he or she becomes distant from his or her mother and learns that he or she must stop.
3. The mother can quickly find her child by checking her child's location in real time with the Crocs app.
Also people around can hen the parents to find their missing child through Crocs' Jibbitz
If kidnapping is suspected, it can be reported to 112 using the button in the app, and the child's location can be shared. These Crocs checks can be a traffic light for children, and parents can be aware of the distance between them and their children so that they can no longer suffer from the pain of losing each other.
