The main purpose of this book, "Modern Survival Hell," is to explore the concept of hell across various beliefs and cultures worldwide. Hell typically symbolizes torment and punishment, but we believe that in modern life, people's lifestyles and behaviors have shifted somewhat from traditional norms. Therefore, we aim to create a version of hell that is relevant to contemporary society.

Through this book, we hope to present a different understanding and expression of hell compared to traditional views. Using illustrations, we depict our interpretation of modern hell and delve into the various forms of suffering and pain present in contemporary society.

We choose to represent the Eastern 18 layers of hell in an ancient Chinese book format, utilizing dragon scales bookbinding, with illustrations as the medium of expression. In arranging the visuals, we organize them according to the severity of each level of hell, aiming to create a clear hierarchy and visual impact. The visual style employs humor, satire, and darkness to convey our creative concept, serving as a warning against certain habits or behaviors in modern life. Additionally, it highlights the phenomenon of certain issues existing in behavior but often being overlooked.
