In this rebranding, I transformed Craigslist, a classified website, into the hyperlocal community app 'Craig.' Boasting a bold and playful visual identity, the platform now inspires connections among local neighborhoods, challenging its past image as an untrustworthy marketplace. The new logo, a puzzle piece with a human profile, infuses 'Craig' with a human touch, signifying its mission to connect individuals and communities beyond its original role as a second-hand marketplace. The logo's grid structure inspired bold custom typography, fostering unity and consistency for a cohesive visual identity. The opening logo animation served as an educational tool, unveiling the refreshed brand name and introducing the new motto—connecting among local neighborhoods.
