The Young Ones competition is one of the most acclaimed advertising, interactive and design student competitions. It has a tradition of excellence dating back to 1986.
In the food truck world, location is everything. But with limited prime spots and fierce competition, many owners are forced to make sacrifices—sometimes even on the quality of their ingredients.
So, we turned premium parking spots into a new kind of media space.
By renting the best private parking spots in New York’s busiest areas, we created high-visibility placements—both for food trucks and for Philadelphia Cream Cheese. Trucks that made the switch from generic cream cheese to Philly got exclusive access to these coveted locations, ensuring more foot traffic, more sales, and free parking.
And when no food truck was parked? The space itself became an ad for Philadelphia.
To amplify the impact, we branded each participating truck with stickers, turning them into moving billboards for Philly. Even the parking tickets were designed as ads—reminding vendors that the best spots in town were reserved for those serving up something better.parking tickets into ads for our spaces.
