THREE THOUSAND TROUBLED THREADS
3000 hair, 3000 troubles, 3000pages.
I collected letter-like hair shapes from the floor after my daily showers, assembling them into a typeface. Hair, in ancient Chinese poetry, represents people’s minds and is called “three thousand troubled threads,” expressing many emotions such as missing or anxiety. I used the hair typeface to type down my 3,000 questions to the world, putting them in an overlapping typography to visualize my overthinking.
