The Young Ones competition is one of the most acclaimed advertising, interactive and design student competitions. It has a tradition of excellence dating back to 1986.
The project goal was to design a variable typeface exploring optical transformation through a single visual system.
The typeface was developed through iterative sketching and digital refinement, and finalized as a variable font using RoboFont.
The final outcome is a functional variable typeface with smooth axis transitions, designed for both expressive and practical use.
