This project introduces design into the field of traditional rice fermentation to promote food education and cultural sustainability. By combining Taiwanese rice varieties with fermentation knowledge, the project communicates the cultural and ecological value of fermentation practices.
Through brand communication, packaging, and experiential learning tools, the design helps the public understand the relationships among rice agriculture, microbial fermentation, and local food culture.
