According to statistics, 80% of prisoners return to prison because they cannot adapt to their new reality. During their imprisonment, they are cut off from their context, making it increasingly difficult each year to meet the demands of the modern world.
That's why Google is introducing Gemini Sync, a professional environment for learning new skills. Thanks to Gemini's multimodal system, prisoners receive real-world assignments and detailed feedback in a variety of formats: text, audio, video, and code.
To implement the idea, American prisons were equipped with Google Pixel Tablets with a pre-installed offline version of Gemini Nano. A new “sync” button was added to the Gemini interface, allowing any user to update the offline neural network's information.
