After 20 years of working with the world’s largest networks and with some of the world’s biggest brands Steve recently became a Partner at independent, full service agency, JOY.

Previously, Steve was Chief Creative Officer of Ogilvy and Mather Australia, the biggest agency group in Australasia. Steve was also Chief Creative Officer of Ogilvy and Mather Singapore, which was ranked Number one creative agency in the Ogilvy network and the most creative agency group in South East Asia. Steve was also a member of the Ogilvy global Cadre and South East Asia regional creative council.

In 2010, while under his creative stewardship, Saatchi & Saatchi Australia was named Campaign Brief Magazines “Agency of the Decade”. AWARD “Agency of the Year” with Lion Nathan Breweries being named AWARD “Client of the Year” off the back of the agency’s work. 2010 also happened to be the agency’s most awarded year in its 25 year history. Steve was also a member of the Saatchi & Saatchi World Wide Creative Board.

Steve has also worked at creative hot shops Colenso BBDO in New Zealand, Partners BDDH in London and in 2005; he joined DDB Australia as Creative Director, which was also named Campaign Brief Magazines “Agency of the Year” the same year.

As well as being awarded at Cannes, D&AD, The One Show, The Webby Awards and the other usual suspects he is also credited with creating the most awarded Toyota campaign of all time. He’s also had some of his Coke work entered into the Hall of fame at Cokes headquarters in Atlanta.
