Courtney Gooch is a designer and Associate Partner at Pentagram, originally from Kingston, New York, and now living in Brooklyn. At Pentagram, she works on identities, environmental graphics, and packaging for a range of clients, including the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Planned Parenthood, and the High Line.

Courtney graduated with honors from Carnegie Mellon University with a BFA in Communication Design in 2009. Following school, she worked as a designer and art director for Target's in-house studio in Minneapolis, before returning to the east coast to pursue her current role at Pentagram.

Currently, she teaches a Graphic Design portfolio class alongside Paula Scher at the School of Visual Arts in New York. The class provides the students a basis for approaching identity design through a range of applications, and ultimately aims to prepare students to enter the design workforce. She has served on juries for Pratt Institute and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and is a member of AIGA and SEGD.
