Gustavo Stecher develops visual identity strategies for cultural and communitycentered clients in the U.S., Canada, Argentina, Panamá, France, Chile and Spain. He won the national competition for the Argentine Bicentennial brand, creating a powerful icon that transcended the festivities it was intended for to become a national patriotic symbol. In 2010 he was commissioned to create the first official coin ever designed by a branding studio in Argentina's history.

His work has received major international design awards, and has been featured in specialized publications around the globe. His graphic exploration of Argentina and its people was granted a solo show at the American Institute of Graphic Arts Gallery in New York City. Specialized in corporate and destination branding, clients include the UN, The Canadian Museum for Human Rights, the Buenos Aires Legislature Museum, the C3 (Argentinian Science Museum), IDB, YPF, Coca Cola, the cities of Buenos Aires, Salta, Neuquén, among many other companies, cities and non-profit organizations.

He started teaching at the University of Buenos Aires in 1988, where he's still a professor, and gives lectures, workshops and seminars at the Branding & Integrated Communications Masters (City University of New York, where he's a member of the board of directors), University of San Diego, and many other institutions around the world.
