Monica Rustgi is currently the Vice President of Marketing for Budweiser. A highlight during her three years on Budweiser is that she has lead the team that delivered Budweiser’s last three Super Bowl campaigns with the most recent “Wind Never Felt Better” ranking in the top 10 of AdMeter. In addition to this, Monica most recently made Ad Age’s “40 under 40” list that recognized her contributions to Budweiser and professional background.
During her time on Budweiser, the brand has seen restored brand health and trends for the first time in 10 years. She’s truly reestablished the way the brand comes to life and resonates with consumers. She has been the driving force behind resetting Budweiser’s creative strategy and disruption of the creative development and advertising models. During her time Budweiser’s creative work has been awarded a total of six (6) Cannes Lions, four (4) Clios Sports awards, one (1) Clio award, and one (1) Webby.
Monica holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Business. Prior to business school, Monica held a career in the music industry both as a recording artist and producer, signed to Grammy Award winning producer Cory Rooney. She has also written and produced for Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull during her time in the music industry.
Her unique creative background truly comes through in her work on Budweiser. Her background allows her to truly think outside the box and bring the best creative concepts forward for the brand due to her natural pulse on culture.
