Caroline is a designer and educator based in Tāmaki Makarau, Aotearoa Auckland, New Zealand.

She has created engaging and clear communication design for clients, studios and agencies in both the UK and New Zealand. Caroline brings this wide-ranging professional experience to her teaching, where she develops and delivers courses that balance core design skills and technology with industry-relevant outcomes and conceptually-led research projects. Many of her students have had their assignment work recognised through awards and as graduates they have established design careers in leading studios, both locally and internationally.

Caroline’s academic research explores the relationship between type and place—including interpretive type design, the heritage value of signage, generative design processes and transitional urban spaces.
