Speakers

Keli Hogsett

Creative Director - R/GA Austin

From a young age, Creative Director Keli Hogsett exhibited super human capabilities. As a mom, department lead and purveyor of culture trends in Austin, Keli blends her multidisciplinary approach and awarded visual design aesthetic to transform clients’ businesses.

Finally returning home to Austin after a lovely tour of San Francisco and Boulder, Keli comes to R/GA with over a decade of experience working on everything from new product launches to fully-integrated global campaigns for brands like Skype, Yahoo, Domino’s, Lyft, Kraft and Infiniti to name a few. At R/GA she uses her superpowers on everything from Crocs and Smartfood to Off The Eaten Path and Mercedes.

When she’s not making work better for R/GA’s clients, you can find her supporting local businesses with Guaranteed to Wrinkle, a cause-based female focused community in Austin, with friends on Lake Austin, or toting her two sons around with melty popsicle dripping down their arms.

Greg Hunter

Creative Director - Preacher

Greg Hunter is currently a Creative Director at Preacher where, for the past 2+ years, he has overseen work for SimpliSafe Home Security, Topgolf, Vimeo, The Container Store, and Basil Hayden's Bourbon, among others. Prior to joining Preacher, Greg was the Group Creative Director at Firehouse in Dallas and spent 3 years at Mother New York, developing campaigns for Sour Patch Kids, Dell and SPIKE TV. An alum of the University of Texas' Creative Sequence, Greg is happy to be back in the town where he got his start as a creative intern at GSD&M (where he probably overstayed his welcome).

Verenice Lopez

Assoc. Creative Director - GSD&M

Born in Mexico City, Verenice Lopez is the epitome of a curious spirit. She began her career in Atlanta and New York before calling Austin her home. Her creative prowess earned recognition from Cannes, Ad Age, on a client list that includes Hampton, Hilton, Pizza Hut, Southwest, and Jack Links. Verenice recently spearheaded an initiative in the GSD&M creative department to prioritize professional growth.

Sarah Weigl

Creative Director - McGarrah Jessee

Sarah Weigl has a BA in Creative Writing from Southern Methodist University and an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas. Despite her nearly 12 years of writing experience, she is, at the moment of typing this, desperately googling “how to write a good short bio.” Google said this needed an intro sentence, but she didn’t write one, and now it’s too late. She is currently a Creative Director at McGarrah Jessee in Austin, Texas.
