Global Educators Summit

All year at The One Club for Creativity we use our resources to elevate and support students, now it's your turn, the educators. The Global Educators Summit is an online series of workshops that will provide professional development and discussions with other educators to prepare you for the upcoming academic year. We understand the need for this program at a time when the higher education landscape has changed
Each workshop will include the opportunity to hear from speakers, engage in Q&A and join guided discussions.

SESSION 1: Coronavirus and the Classroom
DATE: AUGUST 3rd - 12pm-2pm ET
The COVID-19 pandemic has forced colleges, universities, and grad schools to re-evaluate how we will all learn, educate, and cope. In this session, our speakers will discuss adjusting and future-proofing curriculums, as well as the mental health needs of students, teachers, and support staff during what will likely be a school year full of uncertainty. Participants will be invited to share their own stories of how their classrooms are pivoting to meet this challenge.

In this session, professional recruiters will offer both hard truths and hope, answering your most urgent questions in order to better prepare you and your students for what lies ahead.

SESSION 3: Teaching for Our Changing Industry

Even without a global pandemic on our hands, the methods with which we teach and empower our students — and ourselves — are forever being adjusted, revamped, and reinvented. In this session, speakers will discuss some of the latest issues in educating students for advertising and design-related fields, including how to discuss and think about diversity. As a participant, you'll be able to chat and compare notes with other educators, with the hopes of bringing back new ways of thinking to your respective classrooms and programs.
