ABOUT THE EVENT:
WHAT IS WHERE ARE ALL THE BLACK PEOPLE?
The One Club’s 'Where Are All The Black People' (WAATBP) is advertising’s largest diversity conference and career event. Since 2011, WAATBP has been the go-to space for Black creatives to level up, find community, and get hired. For years, WAATBP called NYC home—but last year, we hit the road. Our first-ever pop-up? Atlanta. Then came LA. Then Toronto. Now we’re bringing it back to where it all started.
This June, join us in ATL for an afternoon of real conversation, insights, and good energy. We’re talking a fireside chat with top entrepreneurs, two standout panels, networking, music, and mimosas (because why not?). You’ll hear from speakers at Chemistry, R/GA, Six Degrees and more—plus connect with other creatives who get it. It’s not just a career event. It’s a creative recharge.
WHAT IS THE ONE CLUB FOR CREATIVITY?
The One Club for Creativity is a 501(c)3 non-profit with a mission to support the global creative community. Proceeds support The One Club’s mission to provide free and low cost programming for creatives. Beyond WAATBP, we host many programs dedicated to Black creatives including Creative Boot Camps, lunch and learns, and networking events. WHAT TO EXPECT?
Get ready for an experience like no other with creative resources and panel discussions featuring industry talent from across the gamut. This event is an industry-wide call to advertisers (all levels) to join important conversations, mingle, and vibe to good music.
OUR AUDIENCE
The WAATBP audience consists of advertisers and marketers, particularly art directors, copywriters, designers, strategists, account, media, human resources, and more. We also have a growing number of content creators and AI/tech focused attendees. Our audience is typically 70% Black and ranges from current college students to C-suite executives. They work at agencies, brands, tech companies, or own their companies.

In a time when the industry feels cautious, we’re focused on excellence, expression, and ideas that actually connect.
You’ll hear from creatives who are making bold, thoughtful work—campaigns that reflect who we are and how we show up. Because when we stay true to the work, it always resonates. And when we stay true to ourselves, we don’t just keep up—we lead.
