ABOUT THE EVENT:
The Club SF, a new creative movement in partnership with The One Club for Creativity, is on a mission to reignite San Francisco’s creative community and empower the next generation of talent.
Following the success of Portfolio Night SF 2024, we saw the need for an ongoing space where creatives across disciplines can gather, collaborate, and inspire one another. Make It SF is our biannual marquee event - a curated speaker series and artist showcase designed to be as experiential as it is inspirational.
On April 28, 2025, over 150 creatives filled Pereira O’Dell’s San Francisco office for an evening of conversation, art, and community.
The night began with a captivating Capoeira performance by Grupo Capoeira Brasil SF, followed by The Club SF co-founders presentations where Jason Apaliski and Natasha Podogova shared the origins and aspirations of the Club SF to a full house. Guests mingled and networked over music, bites, and cocktails while exploring galleries featuring packaging design, ceramic art, photography, and more from the creative community. Next, the enthusiastic audience was captivated as thought leader Kat Gordon shared her vision for creative resilience and Shihan Zhang illuminated speculative design. Author Nick Cohen introduced his new book “Honest!,” surprising the audience with copies of their own just before a final raffle with local goodies.
The sold out event was a huge success with enormous positive response, providing a blueprint to build and improve upon for the next Make It SF on Sept 24, 2025 featuring PJ Pereira of Pereira O’Dell and renowned Bay Area artist GMUNK.
