Brand Identity and Website Design for The Memo, an online destination for novel ideas worth remembering. A memorandum, by definition, is a brief message or report, designed to be easily and quickly understood. In a similar fashion, online magazine The Memo follows the classic memorandum structure, with ideas worth remembering presented in a concise and captivating way. The Memo presents novel ideas and interesting people, through inspiring, considered and joy-inducing stories. The Memo is where screenshots, bookmarks, saves and earmarks get the time and attention they deserve. The colorful brand identity and site design use office stationery themes, such as bookmarks, sticky notes, punch holes, folder tabs and the classic memorandum structure, in abundance. A recurring theme, the dog ear, features in the brand mark and among other places as a playful interactive element on the site.
