ADWEEK: “How The One Club Stepped Up in 2020”

As part of their “2021 Outlook” series, ADWEEK published a feature article highlighting many of the ways The One Club for Creativity met the challenges of the past year with new and transformed programming.  

These include the launches of ONE School free portfolio program for Black creatives and 2nd Skill, a unique training program for traditional ad creatives to learn UX, UI and Content Strategy to upskill and future-proof for their second creative careers; mentorship programs for young creatives; reinventing The One Show and ADC 99th Annual Awards judging and shows online; expansion of our 10th annual Where Are All The Black People multicultural conference and career fair, and more.

Throughout 2020, the One Club, which positions itself as a nonprofit dedicated to supporting and celebrating the “success of the global creativity community,” has leaned into the year’s challenges with a proactive mindset that’s helped it contribute solutions to some of the industry’s biggest problems.
