Deadline for Entries for 10th Annual Interactive Competition Is January 31, 2007
NEW YORK (December 20, 2006) – The One Club has announced the Call for Entries for One Show Interactive 2007, the premiere international awards show recognizing best advertising produced globally. The deadline for entries is January 31, 2007.
The 10th annual One Show Interactive will award coveted Gold, Silver and Bronze Pencils to winners on May 11th, 2007. The competition categories were revised in 2006 to accurately reflect the ever-changing industry and media landscape. This year’s 12 categories include Banners, Online Branded Content and Corporate Web Sites.
"One Show Interactive this year has one of the best panel of judges I have ever seen in a single group – people with the passion and experience to pick the work that really pushes the boundaries of our medium; the pieces that must be seen, studied and remembered," said P.J. Pereira, Jury Chairman and Executive Creative Director at AKQA. "Considering the quality of work that has been produced around the world during the last months, we can only expect one of the most inspiring shows this industry has ever had."
The competition jury is comprised of 25 top interactive creative directors from 11 countries, who will come together in New York for one week in March to choose the winners of the coveted 2007 One Show Interactive Pencils. One Show Interactive was ranked the industry’s most important interactive award show in an independent study done by Advertising Age and IDEA. Winning work is published in the One Show Interactive Annual, considered the benchmark for the year’s greatest interactive advertising.
