About the Work
At the end of 2016 I was asked to paint Beyonce as a queen for the year-end issue and specifically, album of the year. `Lemonade' was her stellar achievement in 2016, a story of the affair of her husband, the discovery of that, the rage, the anger, the sadness then forgiveness and reconciliation.
