About the Work

In a world where 1 animal species disappears every 20 minutes, the concept of "Emerging species" was a way to underline the incredible power of creation that Play-Doh offers. Dozens of species, all born of imagination, hand-made in modeling clay, then animated, were showcased online in a funny museum of natural history. Using the tone of voice of "National Geographic" documentaries, a narrator told the story of each one of these emerging species. Poetic, funny, sometimes even sad, each species had a small story to tell both for children and their parents. Next to the main virtual hall, the "visitor’s' gallery" was linked to Facebook and regularly enriched by emerging species discovered and shared by the children. Probably the most "digital" project of the year, the Gallery gathered 3 million French parents and children together around modeling clay, creating a beautiful message of hope for the world we live in.
