About the Work

The National Down Syndrome Society worked with Tool and Saatchi & Saatchi to bring awareness to ‘Law Syndrome,’ an issue that prevents those afflicted with Down Syndrome from earning crucial healthcare benefits. Danielle directed these inspiring cinematic pieces that ultimately resulted in NDSS inviting dozens of lawmakers and businesspeople to dine at C21 without telling them why they were invited, or what to expect. The night ended with a call to action for the guests to change the laws that prevent people with Down syndrome from being afforded certain jobs and benefits.
