About the Work

IKEA’s PAX wardrobe system can be expanded endlessly with additional modules. We needed to find a simple way of communicating this unique selling point right at today’s most common point of sale: online. That’s why we chose weare.de, one of Germany’s biggest online streetwear shops, to turn a tiny space which is clicked a million times per hour into a powerful ad: we simply replaced the shopping cart icon with a PAX wardrobe. After all, an online shopping cart is just as infinite as the PAX system. With each item placed in the wardrobe, the icon grew automatically, demonstrating that PAX can accommodate any style. And any amount of it. At checkout an individual banner immediately commented on the amount of shopped items in real time and linked directly to IKEA’s website with an online PAX planner.
