About the Work
Designed for a documentary revisiting the 2008 financial crisis, this typographically-rich title sequence helps situate and frame the retelling of the most dramatic financial crisis since the Great Recession. To remind viewers of how dire the situation was in 2008, we presented re-typeset headlines coupled with dramatic footage of Main Street and Wall Street. The resulting compositions are bold and elegant and set the stage for a retelling of a financial crisis that nearly caused a complete economic meltdown.
