About the Work
The 36 unknown images are imaginary monsters in the dark. Inspired by a traditional Chinese fiction named the Classic of Mountains and Seas, the designer created a group of fictional creatures full of imagination and curiosity. The craft of ink and bronze printing were employed on the surface of black paper, presenting a sense of mystery. A tinge of golden light flickers and the illusion seems ambiguous in the dark, which creates a mysterious atmosphere.
