About the Work

To get Kay Jewelers’ buyers to engage with their new ‘Long Live Love’ brand platform, we created a way for their customers to make their love truly live forever, even longer than their diamond jewelry. On BeamYourLove.com, users can send a message of love into space that will travel through the universe forever. Using simple broadcasting technology, we transmitted the audio messages in the form of high frequency radio waves. Each message had a unique trajectory number (like a tracking number), which Kay offered to engrave for free on their Ever Us collection of diamond rings. We encouraged sales with this simple and special gift idea, and made the messages available indefinitely on an archived version of the site. The site, promoted through social media, received thousands of messages from all over the world in a hundred different languages, and truly embodied their desire to celebrate everlasting love.
