About the Work

With Toy Story getting its own land at Walt Disney World Resort, we wanted to surprise generations of fans with its big reveal. We took Disney·Pixar’s most searched for easter egg since Toy Story, the Pixar Ball, and put fans on a hunt across the internet to find it during the Oscars. We hid our first batch of easter eggs in a series of TV spots during the Oscars. We drove fans to the internet to #FollowTheBall where they were invited to tweet the name of a state and our hashtag to find out where it was going. We created over 100 pieces of custom content delivered via a real-time response engine to keep them searching. During the Oscars we generated 5.6 billion impressions with a reach of 69.9 million. All by inspiring fans to see their favorite films in a new way and #FollowTheBall to Toy Story Land.
