About the Work
Other than its biggest competitor, Samsung Electronics in Germany has no own chain of brand retail stores where people can bring their smart devices in case they need them to be fixed. Since the beginning of 2020 though Samsung at least has a drop-off “Smart Repair Service,” which is available locally in major cities throughout Germany, and which provides repairs for smart devices on the spot. But what could be the best way of making people aware of that new service when they are used to bring their phones to independent repair shops? Well, we used out-of-home placements in the cities where the service was newly available and by the way of illustrations turned the typical pattern of a broken display into a drawing that could be easily identified by locals as a map of their city including the service point. Add to that its exact address and you have some eye-catching visuals that speak for themselves.
