About the Work

With the platform “Tech That Moves”, Nissan celebrates the capacity of technologic achievements to move us. To mark the 50th anniversary of the moon landing, Nissan releases a campaign that celebrates progress. In this frame, Nissan developed Sound Odyssey, the very first film’s soundtrack entirely produced with space generated sounds. Through a collaboration between Nissan and NASA, 50 years of data coming from space were collected: gravitational waves, black holes, stars, comets, magnetic fields, hubble… were converted into sound waves, giving birth to an audible Strauss’ cover and sound design.
