About the Work

Monastery is a new botanical skincare brand that sources ingredients at a quality level ordinarily reserved for luxury parfumiers. Made by hand in small batches, Monastery products are known for their remarkably pure formulations and scents. A timeless and elegant design system evoking the natural world was created across all touchpoints. The system was extended into packaging with an intent to highlight the purity of Monastery’s ingredients. Glass, metal, and textured papers were used throughout, along with bold yet sophisticated colors. The droppers are made of amber glass and matching custom dropper tops with a unique transparent bulb. The boxes all use uncoated colored paper, and text and graphics are printed with a silver foil. The Athena coin is a 3D emboss with foil.
