Tel Hi Neighborhood Center is one of the oldest nonprofits in San Francisco, started in 1890. After discussing several ideas for their annual gala, they approved a 2-part exhibit spotlighting The Mayors of San Francisco, starting from 1887, only 3 years before their organization was started. We spent several months designing the exhibit and it was unveiled at their annual gala inside of Oracle Park, the event included images from the installation and a timeline that received much interest and attention. The timeline reinforced the many years of existence and impact throughout the city. The full exhibition was installed on the wall of their gymnasium for the entire community to enjoy. We included fun facts and engaging photography from several well known Mayors.
The exhibit has been a huge success with surrounding schools, neighbors, media, and of course the current Mayor who is a big supporter of this nonprofit.
