The world often turns its back on the poor and underprivileged. Each of them is often relegated to being just a faceless and unknown statistic. The book gives the poor a face, while helping to retain their dignity. At the same time, it lets the reader have a peak into their world in hope that the world will come around and lend a helping hand.

01. True to its name, the back of the book is the book cover.
02. While each page features an individual, it is only the back view of the individual that the reader sees.
03. The perforation on the edge of each French fold encourages the reader to tear it open to have a closer look into the world of the poor and underprivileged.
04. Each page reveals the individualís home environment and the features unique to each individual while the words draw inferences to the life the individual leads.
05. When the reader arrives at the end of the book (or the beginning of the book, so to speak), the reader discovers the words encountered throughout the book is part of the
introduction to the world of the underprivileged.
06. On the introduction page, the perforation on the French fold leads the reader to discover more about the book as it draws closer to the end.
07. Tearing along the perforation of the French fold reveals the foreword of the book.
08. Finally, the end of the book. Or the beginning. Because the book aims to leave the reader a reminder that the world needs to have a little more compassion for the weak, the needy and the old.
