About the Work
The Home is a tiny charity, so they needed a big idea to stand out. Rather than using the old ëbegging bowlí approach, we had some fun. Frankie the Wonder Dog invited people to ìThrow us a boneî by sending an SMS donation via an interactive billboard ñ an original idea and a highly original use of media.
The ideaís effectiveness speaks for itself: in just three days the Home received over $150,000 in free media, 1327 bones and a 600% increase in new volunteers.
