About the Work
In August of 2011, a small group of physicians from The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates, traveled to Honduras treating locals for heart rhythm disorders and implanting devices such as pacemakers and defibrillators for free. The goal was to raise awareness about cardiac issues in Honduras, and raise funds for future trips. The trip lasted approximately 10 days, in which time this short film was produced. It was launched on our website, vimeo and Youtube.
