About the Work

Despite healthy brand tracking data, 50% of teens and young adults hadn?t even enjoyed a ?Coca-Cola? in the previous month alone. We had to increase product consumption and get people talking about ?Coke? again.

So after 125 years of putting the same name on every bottle of ?Coke?, we tried something new. We printed the 150 most popular Australian names on ?Coke? bottles and invited Australians to ?Share a Coke? with one another.

Before launching, we asked our fans whose names are starred on ?Coke? bottles to submit fun and unique photos. After thousands of photo submissions, we created and released 20 crowdsourced ?Share a Coke? commercials. Fans could then also make their own ad through the ?Share a Coke? website. So whether it was on TV, online or on ?Coke bottles?, our fans were always the stars of the ?Share a Coke? campaign.
