Dove is committed to creating a world where beauty is a source of confidence, not anxiety. With this film Dove highlights the issue that most women don't feel beauty confident in front of the camera and have the reaction of hiding or running away from it and they should reconsider their reaction. How? By contrasting it to the reactions of little girls in front of the camera. The girls are full of self confidence and even actively seek it out.
All women where once little girls so what happened between then and now? Dove invites to reflect on the point in their lives when they became their own harshest beauty critic and encourages them to rethink their own beauty confidence. The film has aired on TVC and on the digital arena to start the conversation globally as this source of beauty anxiety is unfortunately a universal truth for most women.
