About the Work
Dove's mission is to make women see the beauty within themselves and for beauty not to be a source of anxiety for them. With that in mind, we commissioned beat poet Hollie McNish to write this poem to inspire women to see themselves in a more positive way. The poem was intended for radio and digital platforms like Facebook, creating discussion and debate around the insights behind them and encouraging women to share their own feelings about beauty. Their responses will then we compiled together to inspire more poems.
