We all know that being a Dad is a tough job, but Dad’s don’t always get the recognition they deserve, especially when it comes to Father’s Day. So, American Greetings decided to go ahead and actually do something about it. Following up on their Mother’s Day campaign, they decided to put out a real casting call for actors to play the role of “Dad” in a commercial. The actors were thrust into challenging, real-life situations while only the supporting cast knew what was really going on. Through a combination of impossible to answer questions and unexpected, awkward scenarios, the Dad actors’ lackluster performances demonstrate what a great job real dads do every single day with absolutely no script.
