About the Work
With the ambience of a thriller, we see a woman walking down the hallway of an old, poorly lit building. She calls down the elevator, one of those old ones with a grated metal door. The elevator arrives and she goes in. There is a mirror inside. She looks at herself, checking her makeup. Suddenly a guy appears in the reflection, giving the viewer a great fright. It is a middle-aged man with a sweater tied around his shoulders. The woman is taken aback, but when she looks behind her, she sees that she is alone in the elevator. The middle-aged man is gone. Text over the image appears, warning: 'Beware of the middle-aged man in the convertible who comes out of nowhere.' Thus demonstrating the benefits of Volkswagen's Side Assist, which warns when there is a vehicle in the rearview blind spot.
