About the Work
MadewithCode.com is a mobile first hub for coding projects, inspirational films and coding events to help assist parents and teachers and inspire girls to code. More and more teen girls are using mobile devices which made it a priority to develop mobile, web based apps that introduce girls to the fundamentals of coding. We created Made with Code with Google because even though more aspects in our lives are powered by technology, women aren't represented in the companies, labs, research, creative arts, design organizations, and boardrooms that make technology happen. If girls are inspired to see that Computer Science can make the world more beautiful, more usable, more safe, more kind, more innovative and more healthy then they will begin to contribute their essential voices.
