About the Work

The idea: To demystify seemingly difficult, multi-step home improvement projects by showing how easily they could be done in quick, enjoyable six-second Vines. The execution: By exploiting Vine’s native “tap to pause” functionality, we were able to expand time. A six-second vine no longer had to be 6-seconds. It could now become an entire home improvement project. The result: By pushing the boundaries of what could be done in six-seconds, Lowe’s ended up creating the next evolution of the How To video, the 1st ever interactive Vine campaign that used ‘tapping,’ and innovating the social media platform itself.
